Excellent job Robin
I wish it was longer , but I always want a great book to be longer.
This book is nice and complete robin could only add a few small details which is a nice change from a lot of books I read.
I believe that if you write a book to keep the reader guessing you should answer the questions imposed in the book. It's not how I as a reader would answer the questions but reading how the author answers them.

PS please keep going on the Madison wolves books I look forward to them.

Again great job Robin

In Custody edition by Robin Roseau Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This is a most entertaining novella. It amply demonstrates the importance of making sure that you have your ducks in a row. A great read---ENJOY!
This author Joe P Larson, who also writes under the personas of Julia P Lynde and Rosetta Robbins is actually a heterosexual male who embraced the les fix community and created solidarity by passing himself off as a lesbian author.

He has been exploratory about his gender and shown us all how creative and fluid identity can be.

The number of books that he has published in this last year are a testament to his majestic prolificacy when writing. He continues to write superbly, whose greatest following is ME ME ME.

His exemplary writing skills is equaled by his good editing and corrected errors. His work is easy to read for this reason and worth paying money for.

I write this review to serve as a model to other real lesbians, who wish to support men who dream of being lesbians who write les fix.

Joe P Larson, you need to continue this trademark and never choose some other genre to write.

~ A REAL BISEXUAL
This story was entertaining although pretty unrealistic. I did like what the main character did with make up to disguise herself, I thought that was pretty clever.
It's an ok read and worth the price but has nothing particularly special to recommend it. The characters weren't that engaging, the plot combines two plots used on every cop show on earth (dirty cops trying to kill important witness) and one used by every second romance novel (two people get snowed in together and come to love each other). The pacing is good (I often have a issue with Roseau's pacing, but not in this book) and there's some action and toward the end a rather clever twist. There are some bits on wilderness survival that are interesting. But I felt the romance aspect just didn't work for me. No spark and sizzle. No real reason why they should become romantically involved other than being stuck together. Nothing that interesting about them personally. It's been edited well, no particular typos or jarring grammer issues, no scenes that I felt would have been better off cut. So more polished that some previous works but lacking in charm.

Regarding the one star reviews, they both talk about the abuse thing. This particular book has no BDSM, no dominant submissive relationship and no sex whatsoever. There is no abuse at all.

Warning people that Roseau is a white male is probably valid if true. I can see how some might feel it's creepy. And if they feel that way they shouldn't buy the book. Personally I think it would be a sad world if only blacks can write about blacks, Jews about Jews, and so forth. There'd be darn few books about sea otters according to that logic. And none at all about little green guys from Mars.

But the one stars went even further this time demanding that the author stop writing. Its fair to say the book was tripe and it's a waste of money if that's how you feel. One star all you want. But to me, telling someone to shut up and stop writing is going too far. If you're ok with that then you should be ok with fundamentaist Christians saying that all gays should shut up and never publish anything because they don't like what you're saying. It might corrupt their kids after all and give them funny ideas like tolerance and free speech.
I love most of Robin's books, and liked this one too as it was a nice quick read. The story itself was nicely laid out, at least the one about why Jess was on the run. The ruse to get into the court room and the way the story ended was a nice jab at those in law enforcement who turn to the dark side. I understood that this was a shorter story, but I would have liked to have seen more development of and more depth explained into the relationship of Dillon and Jess. My only criticism was that they went from pointing guns at one another to sudden fighting off advances from the other with only a slight pause to discover more of the others true character.
Another very enjoyable read by this author, female or male, it really makes no difference to me. The fact that I am able to read and be entertained is what matters to me. Every thing I have read by this author has been well written and entertaining.
Bought this one on a whim to read while on the treadmill this week and it was hard to wait between workouts. Finished it in 2 days instead but I am going right back to to order more from this writer.
The story picked up right away and never dulled throughout. Characters were very well defined and enjoyable. I enjoyed this very much and highly recommend it for an excellent quick read that'll make your heart beat a little faster.
Looking forward to more!
